In addition, there are multiple food outlets, buskers and arts & crafts events. And the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (better known as Jeff’s Shed) is just across Clarendon Street, opposite the Casino.

Within walking distance from Bayviews are many icons such as the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne Park (Tennis Centre) and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG or the G). You can also find Telstra Dome, Southern Cross Station, the Rialto Building & Stock Exchange, and the Melbourne Convention Centre. The Free City Circle Tram will take you right around the city. St Kilda
(3 apartments)
A seaside resort for Melbournians in Queen Victoria's era, later a notorious red-light district, St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne's rising creative stars and professionals.
Drawn by the many funky bars, outstanding restaurants and eclectic shops, this well-heeled crowd has brought an influx of spending power that's transformed a once neglected seaside suburb into Victoria's unchallenged ‘Capital of Cool'.
The world-famous patisseries, the landmark Edelweiss Delicatessen and the popular Sunday art-and-craft market on the Esplanade are all still here and still thronged with customers.
But many hip newcomers have added to the vibrant cosmopolitan mix - sophisticated drinking spots, cozy and enticing restaurants, haute couture and New Age fashion outlets, Internet cafes, live music venues, the new Farmer's Market - and much more.
St Kilda offers an endlessly fascinating pot-pouri of modern pop and café culture, enhanced for people-watchers by a constant stream of sometimes eccentric, always colorful characters and Beautiful People from all over the globe.
There are so many interesting things in St Kilda,
the Esplanade Markets, ride the roller coaster at Luna Park, have coffee and cake in Acland Street, dine at one of the many restaurants in Fitzroy Street, or catch the ferry to Williamstown from St Kilda pier.
There is also Albert Park Lake, St. Kilda Beach, cycle and roller-blading tracks that go on forever, and the cinemas & live theatre. The list of attractions goes on an on.
If you're in Melbourne on a working holiday, St Kilda is a great place to base yourself.
It is serviced by three major tram routes but if you must drive there's plenty of parking – or why not work up a healthy appetite for some of our great food - walk along the beach from Port Melbourne and enjoy the sweeping views of Port Philip Bay!

Brunswick
(1 apartment) Brunswick, one of Melbourne's oldest suburbs, is a multicultural suburb with Victorian architecture and narrow streets that welcomes all kinds of people. You will find families, professionals and those with an alternative view on life which is what makes it such an interesting place.
Brunswick offers an interesting selection of colourful stores, cafes, restaurants and bars, and a lively music scene. For galleries and more trendy cafes visit Lygon Street in East Brunswick, only a short stroll away. The Sydney Road Street Party is held every year in February and a main event in the suburb, this is followed by The Brunswick Music Festival in March, featuring blues, roots, and world music it is one of Victoria's leading music festivals and a major multi cultural event for Australia.
Due to the many ethnic and professional groups that live here side by side, Brunswick is a great place to visit for its bohemian lifestyles, chicness and culture. The area is among the best-served by public transport in Melbourne.
Brunswick itself is relatively flat and is ideal for cycling.
Two of Melbourne's well-known parks, Royal Park (170 hectares) and Princes Park (nearly two kilometres long), are located within 200m of the apartment. Click on their names above to access information about them. Facilities include
