Located in the leafy, residential sector of Acland Street, just up from Fitzroy Street, St. Kilda, it's set among some amazing and classic Melbourne architecture, a short walk to the seaside, and the beautifully landscaped Albert Park, with its lake, lovely trees, clipped lawns – and access to a jogging and walking track right there on our doorstep.

By Tram from the CBD
Take tram No. 96 from the tram stop in Bourke Street, Melbourne city. Tell the driver you want to get off at The Prince of Wales Hotel, St. Kilda. Your apartment is up the hill in Acland Street. The tram ride costs $3.50. Make sure you have coins with you. Trams will not accept notes.

By Car
We're easy to find on your Melways street directory (Ref 2N K6).

By Air
It's simple to reach us if you're arriving by air at Tullamarine Airport. Here's how:

•  By cab - this will cost $45-55 depending on traffic, and weekend rates.

•  By SkyBus from the Airport to Spencer Street, Melbourne – this will cost about $15 per person one way, or about $24 return. Then catch a No. 96 tram from Bourke Street , half a block away, as above.

•  By Airport Bus Dandenong direct to StayCentral. Timetables can be found on www.airportbusdandenong.com.au or ring (03) 9782 6766, or email sharlene@airportbusdandenong.com.au . Bookings are recommended. My guests have used this service, and it comes highly recommended.

•  By Airport Bus (Bayside Suburbs) direct to Fitzroy Street, St Kilda. Timetables can be found on www.fapas.com.au or ring 03 9783 1199. Bookings are recommended. You will need to walk about 300m on drop-off.

By Air via Avalon Airport
It's simple to reach us if you're arriving by air at Avalon Airport . Here's how:

•  Ask about our Limosine & Car Service to and from the airport.

•  By cab - this will cost about $95.00 depending on traffic, and weekend rates.

By Sunbus from the Airport to Spencer Street , Melbourne – this will take about 50 minutes and will cost $21.00 per person, or $37 return. You would then catch a No. 96 tram from Bourke Street, as above.

By Train
(Southern Cross Station). Easy! Catch the No. 96 tram from Spencer Street nearby (see above).

(Flinders Street Station). Catch the No. 16 tram from the tram stop right outside the Station on St Kilda Road, and tell the driver you want to get off at The Prince of Wales Hotel.)

By Sea (Station Pier).
Take a cab from the Pier – it's only 10 minutes away.
